Green Commercial Landscape Design

Green landscaping starts with a smart design. Our sustainability-focused designs work with nature to conserve resources and create healthy, functional environments that enhance curb appeal and even produce fresh organic food!

Designed with Sustainability in Mind

math_compass-iconRevolution Landscape combines environmental mindfulness with design innovation to produce eco-friendly landscapes that are both functional and attractive. Whether you represent a Healthcare Facility seeking LEED Certification, Educational Institution providing an outdoor classroom, Corporate Campus implementing an Environmental Stewardship Action Plan, or Multi-Family Property seeking higher occupancy, we are here to help!

Our designs feature the use of water conscious plants, sustainable grasses, and the installation of vegetable gardens, which can add to the health and enjoyment of property users. Water conservation is an integral part of our designs, and can be incorporated through efficient irrigation and rainwater harvesting systems.  Use of reclaimed and sustainably sourced materials will also minimize the ecological footprint of the project.

Here is a selection of Commercial Project Concepts:

  • Elementary School Outdoor Learning Center & Garden Workspace (View Design)
  • Non-Profit Healthcare Therapy Garden & Interactive Landscape (View Design)
  • Corporate Campus Park with Organic Lawn & Ocean Friendly Garden
  • Multi-Family Housing Complex with Water Conservation Garden & Organic Landscape

We are capable of refining nearly any vision into a comprehensive landscape design. Our primary objective is to design a landscape that achieves your organizational goals. We can help you be a steward to the environment, create curb appeal for your property, and maximize your landscape investment while also providing a healthy and safe place your community, clients, and staff. With Revolution Landscape, you can rest assured that you have put the health of your landscape in good hands.

Commercial Landscape Design Process

1. Initial Consultation & Site Analysis

The first step in our design process is an Onsite Consultation.  Our Principal Designer visits with you at your site to view the space and discuss your vision.  It gives the designer an opportunity to see the landscape and assess the existing plant material, irrigation system, and climate factors.  You will leave this meeting with some initial ideas and a request to proceed with a Concept Plan.

2. Design Process

After the initial Onsite Consultation, our design team begins the development of a Concept Plan. The deliverable to you may include hand sketches, 3-dimensional renderings, an inspiration board, and plant pallet. Once the concept begins to take form, additional site data may be gathered such as photos, site measurements, spot elevations, drainage testing and irrigation assessments. As we move forward with the Concept Design, digital plans are drafted that illustrate plant locations as well as the position of other landscape features such as hardscape pathways and patios.

3. Concept & Bid

The Concept Design is then refined into Construction Documents, which may include Site Plans, Hardscape Plans, Structural Specifications, Irrigation Plans, and Planting Plans. Budget estimations are an ongoing part of the landscape design process and once the construction documents are drafted an itemized estimate is created for your approval. Scheduling and phasing of the construction is then discussed and we move into construction.
*Revolution Landscape manages the process for City Permits as well as Green Rebates if required for the project.
