Thanks for the note Laural! Queen of the jungle! Its awesome growing your own organic foods. They just taste so much better then the stuff you find in the store. Right now we are getting ready to plant a bunch of heirloom tomatoes. My favorite are the black tulas. They are a purple tomato great for sandwiches or slicing and eating.

bula from Fiji!! thats exacty what i call the garden nearest my kitchen! i try to keep as many herbs in it as i can, weather depending. mostly i grow what i eat the most in that garden. then there are the back gardens, bananas and pineapples....the driveway gardens, strawberries, jicama and cacao. as well as the "bali house" garden for things taking longer like carrots, papaya and watermelon. life for me is ALL about being self sufficient...living off the grid and growing our own. one thing we are given freely is time, and we use it to live, not just survive. my boyfriend Paul lives in oceanside and told me about your website; that he met you at the farmers market on sunday. thank you for the information offered on your website, as well as the reading suggestions. sincerely, laural a.k.a. queen of the jungle!
